Terms of use
Last updated: 5 September 2026
These terms cover your use of the Plan My Do website. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site.
Who we are
Plan My Do is a sole trader based in Cornwall, United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@planmydo.com. See our privacy policy for how we handle your data.
Your account
You must be 18 or over to create an account. You need an account to plan an event or to list a business. Give us accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
We introduce - we are not part of your booking
We help hosts find suppliers. We are not a party to whatever you agree with each other. If you book a supplier through this site, that agreement is directly between you and the supplier.
That means we are not responsible for the quality, safety, timing or legality of what a supplier provides, for anything a supplier or host tells you, or for resolving a dispute between you. We do not check every listing, and appearing on this site is not a recommendation or a guarantee. Please satisfy yourself that a supplier is right for you before you commit.
If you list a business
Everything on your profile - your services, your availability, your past events and any prices you quote - must be accurate and kept up to date. You confirm that you are entitled to offer the services you list and that you hold whatever insurance, licences and registrations your trade requires. Only claim a business you actually own or are authorised to represent.
If you upload a guest list
Your guest list stays yours. You decide who is on it and why, and we store and process it on your instructions - you are the controller of that information and we are your processor. We will not use your guests' details for our own purposes, we will not market to them, and we will delete them when you ask us to or when the event's information is destroyed under our privacy policy.
You also instruct us to act on a request that comes to us directly from someone on your list: if they ask us to remove their details, we will remove them, and we will tell you that we have. We do this because the law gives them that right against you as well as against us, and it is quicker for everyone than sending them back to you.
In return, you confirm that you are entitled to give us those details, that you will keep them accurate, and that you will deal with your guests' questions about them. Do not upload details of anyone who has asked you not to.
Reviews and anything else you post
Reviews must describe your own genuine, first-hand experience. Do not post anything false, misleading, offensive, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights. Do not post a review of your own business or a competitor's.
You keep ownership of what you post, and you give us permission to display it on the site. We may remove content that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why when we do.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- scrape, copy or bulk-extract listings or any other content from the site;
- use anyone else's personal information you find here to send unsolicited marketing;
- try to interfere with the site, get into accounts that are not yours, or test its security without asking us first; or
- use the site for anything unlawful.
If you break these terms we may suspend or close your account. If we do, we will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
Our responsibility to you
We do our best to keep the site available and accurate, but we provide it as it is. We are not liable for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for business losses such as lost profit or lost opportunity.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by anything here.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when we last did. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can bring proceedings in your own country.
