Planning an event shouldn't mean opening 27 browser tabs. Finding a venue is easy enough. Then you need food. Entertainment. Decorations. Someone asks if you've thought about insurance. Your budget starts disappearing and you're not even sure what you actually need.

Tell Plan My Do what you're trying to do instead.

  1. Your plan appears

Describe your event and a plan comes back, built around your date and budget.

A village fete would be applying for its licence about here; a wedding would be booking a photographer.

The checklist progress bar reading 3 of 13 complete, then the "1 to 3 months before, Before May 2027" band marked with a coloured circle on a timeline running down the left, holding five tasks — Catering, Bar, Entertainment and Photography, each with an Essential badge and a suggested cost, and Send invitations.
  2. You see who fits

Cornish suppliers matched to what you asked for, with the reasons they came up.

Two catering suppliers shown side by side: Trenoweth Kitchen, a 100% match, and Kernow Feasts, a 74% match, each listing the reasons they matched.
  3. You ask, they reply

Your enquiry goes only to the suppliers you pick, and each reply comes back in its own thread.

Two messages in one thread: the host asking Trenoweth Kitchen to add the clear-down and a gluten-free plate now Ladock Village Hall is booked, and the supplier's reply putting it at £890 all in with a written quote to follow.
  4. You sort the guest list

Track who's coming, who hasn't replied, and what they need.

A guest table listing names, households, groups and RSVP status, with most marked Coming and one No reply yet.
  5. You run the day

The suppliers you booked become arrival times on the day, beside the jobs and who's doing them.

A fete would be timing the stall set-up here; a wedding, the photographer arriving.

The run sheet's Saturday 19 June, marked as the day itself: 09:00 Set-up starts, 09:30 Trenoweth Kitchen arrives to set up with a Supplier arrives badge and a note that kitchen access is the side door, 11:00 Tables, bunting and the photo wall down to Dad and Kate, 13:00 Cornish Ceilidh Band sound check, and 14:00 Guests arrive.

Why we're building Plan My Do

We think planning an event has become unnecessarily complicated. Hosts shouldn't have to search dozens of directories, and suppliers shouldn't have to pay for vague leads sent to ten competitors. We're building a better way for the two to find each other. We're starting in Cornwall rather than filling a national directory with thousands of irrelevant listings.

Launching in Cornwall

Plan My Do is starting local - weddings, milestone parties and village fetes across Cornwall. Be one of the first hosts to plan your event with us.
